For AP teams with more than one person

Parseur Alternative and Parseur Competitors for AP Invoice Extraction

Parseur is a capable email parser. For accounts payable it has two sharp edges: every plan up to 3,000 pages is a single login, and invoices stop processing the moment you hit the monthly cap. PayablesAgent reads supplier invoices and every line item with up to three seats for $149 a month.

The short answer

Stay on Parseur if your data lives in email bodies, you parse many kinds of documents, or one person runs the account. Switch when the job is supplier invoices for a team: Parseur needs the $499 Pro plan before a second person can log in, while PayablesAgent Plus gives three seats, 10,000 pages and QuickBooks Online export for $149 a month.

Where Parseur pricing bites an accounts payable team

Parseur was built around the inbox. Forward an email, and its AI or template engine pulls fields from the body and the attachments. An email body counts as one page however long it runs, which is excellent value for order confirmations and lead notices.

Invoices arrive as PDF attachments, and every page of a PDF uses a credit. A three-page distributor bill costs three credits. Then come the limits that matter at month end: plans from Micro to Premium are single-user, credits expire unused, and at 100 percent of your pages new invoices sit as Quota exceeded until someone upgrades or buys top-ups.

None of that is a flaw for a solo operator automating email. It becomes a real cost when an AP clerk and a controller share the work and close cannot wait for a quota reset.

When Parseur is still the right tool

We would rather you keep Parseur than move to the wrong product. It wins in four situations.

Your data sits in email bodies

Order confirmations, booking notices and lead emails cost one page each, however long. Invoice readers are not built for that.

You parse many document types

Unlimited mailboxes and fields let one account handle invoices, purchase orders, shipping notices and forms together.

Your workflow runs through Zapier or Make

Every Parseur tier includes Zapier, Make, Power Automate and webhooks, so data can land in CRMs and sheets with no code.

A big team shares one account

Up to 100 users on Scale beats a five-seat plan once headcount gets large.

Parseur competitors sorted by what they are built for

Most Parseur alternative lists mix web scrapers, email parsers and enterprise capture suites. For AP work, only three groups matter.

Rules-based parsers

Docparser charges per document of up to five pages, from $39 for 100 documents. Cheap and exact when a few vendors never change layout, slower when you have hundreds.

Configurable AI platforms

Nanonets prices credits per workflow step, and Docsumo and Rossum sell by quote. They suit complex validation and approval flows with a budget to match.

Questions buyers ask about Parseur

What is the best alternative to Parseur for invoices?

For supplier invoices that go into an accounting system, an invoice-specific reader is usually the better buy. PayablesAgent reads the header and every line item for $49 a month (2,500 pages) or $149 with three seats. Docparser suits a few stable layouts, and Nanonets or Docsumo suit teams that want a configurable platform.

How much does Parseur cost?

Parseur costs $49 a month for 100 pages on Micro, $89 for 300, $129 for 1,000, $269 for 3,000 and $499 for 10,000 pages on Pro, with larger tiers up to 250,000 pages and an Enterprise quote beyond that. Yearly billing saves roughly 20 to 25 percent. Every page of a PDF uses one credit.

How many users does Parseur allow?

Parseur's Micro, Mini, Starter and Premium plans (up to 3,000 pages a month) allow one user. Multiple users start on the Scale tier, which begins with the 10,000 page Pro plan at $499 a month and allows up to 100 users. Enterprise allows unlimited users.

What happens when you run out of Parseur credits?

When you reach 100 percent of your monthly pages, Parseur stops processing new documents and marks them Quota exceeded until you upgrade, buy top-up credits, enable early renewal or reach your renewal date. Unused credits do not roll over, so a quiet month does not cover a busy close.

Can Parseur extract invoice line items?

Yes. Parseur extracts tables, including invoice line items, with its AI engine or with templates you build. PayablesAgent returns every line (description, quantity, unit price, line total and tax) on every plan without defining fields, and exports to Excel, CSV or, on Plus, bills in QuickBooks Online.
