For finance teams quoted by Quadient or Beanworks
Quadient AP vs Yooz vs BILL and Quadient AP Competitors With Beanworks Pricing
Quadient AP, the product that used to be Beanworks, has no price list. Every deal is a custom quote after a demo. If the part of AP that hurts is typing vendor invoices into QuickBooks, Sage or NetSuite, PayablesAgent reads them to the line item for $49 a month, or $149 with three seats, and you can start this afternoon.
Quadient facts come from quadient.com, its AP plans and integrations pages, checked September 30, 2026.

The short answer
Quadient AP vs Yooz: both are full AP platforms without a public price; pick Quadient AP for property management, club accounting or AP plus expenses on one contract, and Yooz if you want a trial first and run POs with budgets. Quadient AP vs BILL: BILL is cheaper to start with published plans at $49, $65 and $89 per user a month, while Quadient AP pays off once a dozen or more people approve invoices.
Quadient AP is a full accounts payable platform for small and mid-market teams: invoice capture, approval workflows, PO matching, expenses and payments, synced to QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Dynamics or Xero. It is priced by custom quote only. If you already approve and pay bills inside your accounting system and the real cost is data entry, you do not need the whole platform. A capture tool with published pricing does that part for $49 or $149 a month.
How Quadient AP and Beanworks pricing works
Quadient's AP plans page lists three plans and no prices. It says the plans are customized to each team and sends you to a request form. Here is what each plan covers, straight from that page.
Invoices plan
Invoice capture and approvals, with unlimited users, unlimited storage and approval delegation. This is the plan most teams mean when they say "Beanworks".
Purchase Orders plan
Automated invoice to PO matching, blanket POs and purchase requisitions. You need this if receiving and matching happen outside your ERP today.
Expenses plan
Employee expenses with category mapping, a mobile app and unlimited receipts. Useful if you want AP and reimbursements in one tool.
Two things drive the quote: which of these modules you take and how many invoices you push through. On the same page Quadient cites industry benchmarks of $10 to $15 per invoice for manual processing and $2 to $4 per invoice for best-in-class automation. Those are benchmarks, not Quadient's price. Review sites print yearly ranges for Quadient AP as well, but none of them come from Quadient, so treat them as rumors until you hold a written quote.

Quadient AP head to head with Yooz and BILL
Most buyers who shortlist Quadient AP end up comparing it with one of these two. The answer usually comes down to how you want to pay for software and who sends the vendor payments.
Quadient AP vs Yooz
Quadient AP and Yooz are both full AP platforms with invoice capture, approval routing, PO support and payments, and neither publishes a dollar price. Quadient quotes by plan (Invoices, Purchase Orders, Expenses) and is strongest for property management and club accounting. Yooz prices by document volume after a trial and adds purchase-to-pay with POs and budgets.
- 1Pick Quadient AP if you run Rent Manager or club software, or you want AP and expenses under one contract.
- 2Pick Yooz if you want to trial the product before talking price and you process POs with budgets.
- 3Pick neither if approvals and payments already run in QuickBooks, Sage or NetSuite and only the keying hurts. A capture plan covers that for $49 or $149 a month.
More on the second option in our Yooz alternative and Yooz pricing page.
Quadient AP vs BILL
The biggest difference is how you buy. BILL publishes per-user plans at $49, $65 and $89 a month and you can sign up without a sales call, while Quadient AP is quoted and includes unlimited users on its Invoices plan. BILL also runs the payment rails itself, with ACH at $0.59 and checks at $1.99 per payment.
- 1Pick BILL if you have a handful of approvers and want to start this week on a card.
- 2Pick Quadient AP if many people approve invoices, since per-user pricing gets expensive past a dozen seats.
- 3Pick a capture tool if you only need invoices read into your ledger and you already pay vendors from the bank.

What you get instead of a platform rollout
Quadient AP moves your whole AP process into a new system: invoices come in, get coded and approved there, sync to the ledger and get paid. That is worth it when approvals are the bottleneck. It is a lot of change when approvals already work.
PayablesAgent does one step. You upload or forward vendor invoices, and you get vendor, invoice number, dates, tax, totals and every line item back as rows. Export to Excel or CSV on any plan, or straight to QuickBooks Online on Plus. Approvals and payments stay where they are.

When Quadient AP is the better buy
A capture tool will not replace an AP platform in these cases. Keep Quadient on the shortlist if one of them describes you.
Approvals are the bottleneck
If bills sit in inboxes waiting on managers, you need routing rules, reminders and mobile approvals. Quadient's Invoices plan has them, and unlimited users means every approver gets a login.
You run property or club accounting
Direct integrations with Rent Manager, Jonas Club, Clubessential and Northstar are unusual. If your books live there, that alone can decide it.
You need POs outside the ERP
Requisitions, blanket POs and automatic invoice to PO matching are a separate plan at Quadient. We do not match POs; your ERP has to.
You want AP and expenses together
The Expenses plan adds receipts, a mobile app and category mapping in the same system as invoices. A capture tool only reads the documents.
Quadient competitors, grouped by the job
Lists of Quadient alternatives usually mix full AP suites with bill pay apps and capture tools. Decide which job you are buying for first.
Full AP suites, quoted
Stampli, Yooz, MineralTree and AvidXchange all sell capture, approvals and payments on custom quotes, like Quadient. Get two quotes so you have something to negotiate against.
AP with published prices
BILL is $49 to $89 per user per month with ACH at $0.59. Tipalti starts at $99 a month plus transaction fees. Melio runs from $0 to $80 a month for smaller teams.
Invoice capture only
When approvals and payments already work, buy capture alone. Dext is $25.21 a month billed annually for 250 documents with line items extra. PayablesAgent is $49 for 2,500 pages with line items included.
How to test a Quadient AP alternative before the quote arrives
Pull 20 recent vendor invoices, including faxed scans and bills with 30 or more lines.
Upload them in the tool at the top of this page and check vendor, dates, totals and each line.
Export to Excel, CSV or QuickBooks Online and import one batch the way you do today.
Put your monthly pages next to $49 or $149, and next to the Quadient quote when it lands.
Questions buyers ask about Quadient AP
How much does Quadient AP cost?
Quadient does not publish prices for its AP automation. Its plans page says pricing is customized to each team and asks you to request pricing, so the number comes after a demo. The quote depends on the modules you pick (Invoices, Purchase Orders, Expenses) and your invoice volume. Ask for it in writing, per year, with any setup fee shown separately.
Is Beanworks the same as Quadient AP?
Yes. Beanworks was a Vancouver AP automation company that Quadient acquired, and the product is now sold as Quadient Accounts Payable Automation by Beanworks, usually shortened to Quadient AP. If you search Beanworks pricing, you will land on the same quote form.
What are the best Quadient AP competitors?
For a full AP platform, compare BILL ($49 to $89 per user per month), Tipalti (from $99 a month plus transaction fees), Stampli and Yooz (both quoted). For invoice capture only, compare Dext and PayablesAgent, which reads invoices to the line item for $49 or $149 a month.
Does Quadient AP work with QuickBooks?
Yes. Quadient lists QuickBooks among its AP integrations, along with Xero, Sage, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Rent Manager, Jonas Club, Clubessential and Northstar, plus custom integrations. Confirm your edition, Online or Desktop, on the demo call.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Quadient AP for a small business?
If approvals already happen in QuickBooks or your ERP and you mainly need invoices keyed in, a capture tool is cheaper. PayablesAgent costs $49 a month for 2,500 pages or $149 a month for 10,000 pages with three seats and QuickBooks Online export, published and cancellable any month.
Get vendor invoices read without a platform contract
Line items on every plan, Excel and CSV exports, QuickBooks Online on Plus. $49 or $149 a month, no demo required.
