Yooz vs Stampli is a choice between a trial-first, volume-priced AP platform and a sales-led one priced by entities and vendors. Yooz offers a 15-day free trial in a production environment, then one paid Gold Edition priced on the number of documents you process, with unlimited users. Stampli has no trial and no public price: you get a quote after a demo, sized by entities or locations, vendors and feature tier, with procurement, payments and cards sold as add-on modules.

Neither vendor prints a dollar figure, so the honest comparison is about how each one prices, what is in the base package, and which kind of company each fits. Pick Yooz if you want to try the product on real invoices before talking money and you run purchase orders with budgets. Pick Stampli if you have many entities on NetSuite, Sage Intacct or another mid-market ERP and want a dedicated success manager running the rollout. Every fact below comes from getyooz.com/pricing and stampli.com/pricing, checked on October 20, 2026.

How Yooz pricing works

Yooz lists exactly two things on its pricing page. The first is a free trial: 15 days, run in a production environment, no commitment. The second is the Gold Edition, a subscription "based on the volume of documents processed" that includes an unlimited number of users and four hours of complimentary service to get you started. The page also says you can change the subscription as your monthly users or invoice volume change.

There is no per-document rate on the page. Yooz shows a savings calculator that uses industry averages, not its own prices. Directories such as Software Advice and Capterra show a starting figure around $199 a month, but Yooz does not confirm that itself, so treat it as a rough floor until you have a written quote.

The practical upside of the Yooz model is that you can load your own invoices before anyone quotes you. For a five-person finance team with a dozen department heads approving bills, unlimited users also means approvers never become a seat line on the invoice.

How Stampli pricing works

Stampli's pricing page asks you to request a quote and names what drives it: how many entities or locations you run, how many vendors you pay, and which feature tier you pick. The core Stampli for Accounts Payable package includes automated invoice capture, unlimited entities, locations and vendors, semi-automated 2 and 3 way matching, twelve pre-built reports with dashboards, and a dedicated customer success manager.

Everything beyond AP is a separate module: Stampli Procurement for requests and POs, Stampli Direct Pay for vendor payments, Stampli Credit Card and Advanced Vendor Management. Several items on the page are marked "subject to additional fees" without amounts. We cover what moves a Stampli quote, and how to negotiate it, in our Stampli pricing breakdown.

The word "unlimited" next to entities and vendors can look odd when those same things set the price. Read it this way: the product does not cap you, but the quote is sized to what you run today. Ask what happens to the price if you add an entity mid-contract, and get the answer in writing.

Is Yooz cheaper than Stampli?

Usually, for a single-entity company with steady volume, Yooz will quote lower because its price follows documents rather than entities and vendors, and you can trial it first. For a multi-entity group with hundreds of vendors, the comparison flips less predictably, because Stampli's quote includes a success manager and its matching. You only know after both quotes, so request them in the same week and share the same three numbers with each: invoices a month, pages per invoice and number of entities.

Which is better for QuickBooks users?

Both connect to QuickBooks. Stampli names QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop on its pricing page; Yooz says it connects to more than 250 ERP and accounting systems, so confirm your QuickBooks edition is on the list during the trial. For a company whose books are only in QuickBooks Online, both platforms can be more than the job needs. If approvals happen by email and payments already run through QuickBooks Bill Pay, the expensive manual step is entering bills, and that is a capture problem, not a platform problem. Our QuickBooks Bill Pay pricing post shows what the native option costs.

When to choose Yooz

  • You want proof before a sales cycle. The 15-day trial runs on real invoices. Stampli asks for a demo first.
  • Many people approve bills. Unlimited users means site managers and department heads approve without a seat cost.
  • You buy against purchase orders with budgets. Yooz runs requisitions, POs and budgets in the same system as invoices. If PO control is the core need rather than AP, dedicated purchase order software is also worth pricing next to both.
  • Your ERP is unusual. Yooz lists more than 250 integrations, including dealer systems.

When to choose Stampli

  • You run many entities or locations. Stampli is built around multi-entity groups on NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics or SAP.
  • You want a person running the rollout. A dedicated customer success manager is part of the base package.
  • Invoice conversations are messy. Stampli puts discussion with approvers and vendors on the invoice itself, which helps when every bill gets questions.
  • You plan to add payments and cards later. The modules bolt onto the same contract.

What about Quadient AP and BILL?

Buyers comparing Yooz and Stampli usually have a third quote on the table. Quadient AP, the product formerly sold as Beanworks, prices by plan on custom quotes and is strongest in property management and club accounting; we compare it with Yooz in Quadient AP vs Yooz. BILL is the one with a public price: $49, $65 or $89 per user a month, with payment fees on top. For a three-person AP team that is $147 to $267 a month before fees, which gives you a published benchmark to hold both quotes against.

When neither is the right buy

A lot of teams that shortlist Yooz and Stampli only need one part of what they do: getting vendor invoice data out of PDFs and into the ledger without typing. Approvals already happen in email or in QuickBooks, and payments already run through the bank or Bill Pay. Paying for a full AP platform to fix data entry means paying for routing, matching and payments you will not use.

For that team, PayablesAgent is the narrower and cheaper buy. It is invoice OCR software that reads vendor, invoice number, dates, tax, totals and every line item, gives a clerk a screen to check them, and exports to Excel, CSV or QuickBooks Online. Plans are published: Starter at $49 a month for 2,500 pages and one seat, Plus at $149 a month for 10,000 pages, three seats and QuickBooks Online export, and Pro from $499 a month with five seats and a REST API. No demo, no quote. You can test it with the upload tool on this page before you take either sales call. If you lean toward one of the two platforms anyway, our Yooz alternative and Stampli alternative pages compare each against the wider field.

Yooz vs Stampli FAQ

Does Yooz have a free trial?

Yes. Yooz offers a 15-day free trial in a production environment with no commitment. After the trial, the paid Gold Edition is priced on the volume of documents you process and includes unlimited users and four hours of complimentary onboarding service.

Does Stampli have a free trial?

No trial is offered on Stampli's pricing page. The path is a quote request, a discovery call and a demo. Pricing depends on your number of entities or locations, vendors and feature tier, and procurement, payments and cards are sold as separate modules.

How much does Stampli cost compared to Yooz?

Neither publishes a price. Stampli quotes by entities, vendors and tier; Yooz quotes by document volume. Directories list Yooz from about $199 a month, a figure Yooz does not confirm, and no reliable public figure exists for Stampli. Get both quotes with the same volume numbers to compare them fairly.

Is Stampli better than Yooz?

Stampli is the better fit for multi-entity groups that want a dedicated success manager and invoice-level collaboration. Yooz is the better fit for teams that want to trial first, need unlimited approvers and run purchase orders with budgets. Neither is better for a team that only needs invoice data entered into QuickBooks.
