Yooz comparison for US AP teams

Yooz Pricing and Yooz Alternatives Compared With Yooz Competitors

Yooz sells one paid plan, the Gold Edition, and prices it on the number of documents you process. There is no dollar figure on its pricing page. If the part of Yooz you actually need is invoices read into QuickBooks, Excel or your ERP, PayablesAgent publishes its price: $49 a month for 2,500 pages, or $149 a month for 10,000 pages and three seats.

The short answer

Yooz is priced by document volume with unlimited users, and you only see the number after a trial or a sales call. That model suits a company where many people approve bills and volume is steady. If your approvals and payments already run in QuickBooks, NetSuite or Sage and the cost you want gone is keying invoice data, a published capture plan is easier to budget: PayablesAgent is $49 or $149 a month, line items included, cancel any month.

How Yooz pricing works

Yooz's pricing page lists two things: a free trial and the Gold Edition. The trial runs 15 days in a production environment with no commitment. The Gold Edition is a subscription whose price is "based on the volume of documents processed". It includes an unlimited number of users, 4 hours of complimentary service to get started, 24/7 support by chat, email or phone, and the option to change the subscription as your users or invoice volume change.

What the page does not show is a price. There is a savings calculator, but no per-document rate and no monthly minimum. Directories such as Capterra quote a starting figure around $199 a month. Yooz does not confirm that number itself, so treat it as a rough floor, not a quote.

The practical effect: you cannot compare Yooz against another tool until you have been through its trial or a call. Before that call, write down three numbers. Invoices per month, pages per invoice, and how many of them need line items. Those are what drive a volume-based price, and they let you check any quote against published plans.

When Yooz is the better buy

We would not move every Yooz customer. If any of these describe you, stay, or put Yooz on the shortlist.

1

Many approvers

Unlimited users means department heads, site managers and the CFO can all approve bills without a seat bill. Our plans cap seats at 1, 3 or 5.

2

Purchase orders

Yooz runs requisitions, purchase orders and budgets as well as invoices. If you buy against POs daily, one system for both is worth paying for.

3

A niche ERP

Yooz lists 250+ integrations, including dealer systems such as Karmak and CDK Global. If your ERP is on that list and not on ours, that settles it.

4

Statement reconciliation

Yooz reconciles vendor statements and flags payment fraud risk. We extract data; we do not police vendors or release payments.

Yooz competitors, by the job you need done

Most Yooz competitors are full AP platforms. A smaller group only captures documents. Pick the group first, then the vendor.

Approvals plus payments

BILL prices per user and moves money by ACH, check and card; see Bill.com competitors compared. Stampli and MineralTree quote every deal like Yooz does; see the Stampli alternative and MineralTree pricing pages. Quadient AP, formerly Beanworks, sells the same way; see Quadient AP vs Yooz side by side. Teams on Dynamics 365 or Oracle often get a Tungsten AP Essentials quote too.

Global payouts

Tipalti starts from $99 a month plus per-invoice and per-payment fees, built for suppliers in many countries. See the Tipalti alternative comparison.

Mid-market AP suites

AvidXchange and Vic.ai sell annual contracts to larger AP teams; Vic.ai's own AWS Marketplace listing shows $25,000 for 12 months. See the AvidXchange alternative and Vic.ai pricing pages.

Capture only

Dext charges extra for line items; Hubdoc is $12 a month but reads header totals only. PayablesAgent includes line items on every plan. See the Dext alternative and invoice line item extraction.

Who pays less with a capture plan than with Yooz

QuickBooks Online businesses with one or two AP people

Approvals are a quick look in QuickBooks, so unlimited users buys nothing. Extract, review and post; see invoice OCR for QuickBooks.

Sage and Dynamics shops with their own workflow

If approvals already live in the ERP, a second workflow tool duplicates them. See invoice data extraction for Sage and Dynamics invoice processing.

Manufacturers tracking part prices

Line items in a spreadsheet show which supplier raised which part price. See invoice data extraction for manufacturing.

Backlogs and audits

A year of unposted bills is a one-time batch. A monthly plan you can cancel after it fits better than a volume subscription. See bulk invoice processing software.

How to compare a Yooz quote in one afternoon

1

Count last month's pages

Invoices times pages per invoice. A 3-page freight bill is three pages on most capture plans, so count pages, not documents.

2

List who touches a bill

If only the AP clerk and the controller do, unlimited users is not a feature you will use.

3

Run 20 real invoices through the tool above

Include the handwritten one, the scanned fax and the 40-line parts invoice. Check the line items, not only the total.

4

Put both on one line

Yooz's annual quote against $588 a year for Starter or $1,788 for Plus billed monthly, about half that billed yearly.

Questions buyers ask about Yooz

How much does Yooz cost?

Yooz does not publish a dollar price. Its Gold Edition is a subscription priced on the volume of documents you process, with unlimited users and 4 hours of complimentary setup service. You get a number after the 15-day trial or a sales call. Directories list a starting figure near $199 a month, which Yooz does not confirm itself.

Does Yooz charge per user?

No. The Gold Edition includes an unlimited number of users, and the price follows document volume instead. That is a real advantage for companies with many approvers, and a feature you pay for without using if one or two people run AP.

Does Yooz integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. Yooz lists QuickBooks among 250+ integrations, alongside Sage, Acumatica and Microsoft Dynamics 365. PayablesAgent exports to QuickBooks Online on the Plus plan, and to Excel and CSV on every plan for any other system.

Does Yooz have a free trial?

Yes. Yooz offers a 15-day trial with no commitment, run in a production environment. Use it on the same 20 invoices you run through the upload tool at the top of this page, and compare line-item accuracy side by side.

What is a cheaper alternative to Yooz?

If you need approvals, POs and payments, the cheaper alternative is usually the one already inside your accounting system, such as QuickBooks Bill Pay. If you need invoice data captured, PayablesAgent costs $49 a month for 2,500 pages or $149 for 10,000 pages with three seats, line items included. Our best OCR software for invoice processing roundup prices nine capture tools from their own pages.

Check your invoices before the Yooz call

Upload your longest supplier invoice and look at the line items that come back. If capture is the reason you are looking at Yooz, you can have it running today at a published price.
